What should I expect to pay for a building report?

A: The old saying ‘you get what you pay for’ is exactly the case in this instance. Whenever you are looking for a Building Consultant it is imperative that you do your due diligence and look up the person or companies’ qualifications and experience. As a minimum they should carry a relevant South Australian builder’s licence that covers all structural trades including carpentry and residential building Works.

David’s licence (BLD266711) covers all aspects of structural construction and finishing trades within the residential building industry, and has 20+ years’ experience administering such services within this industry. We are fully insured with both Professional Indemnity and Public Liability and operate to Australian Standards 4349.1

So, please contact TWO42 Building Consultants and be sure you are comparing apples with apples.

TWO42 Building Consultants uses a formula based around the number of rooms, including bathrooms, to charge for inspections. We feel it isn’t reasonable to expect someone to pay the same for a 2-bedroom apartment that others pay for a 5-bedroom two story family home. Our prices are based on your individual requirements.
